Question: would you say people on social media are more confident in themselves/going out on there own or in day to day things or more aware of the things that happen?

There is a lot going on in this question! We can be more confident on social media, because we have more control over the information we post about ourselves, the pictures we show to the world and the information we reveal about ourselves. This allows people to see us in a certain way. However, we may start to worry if what we want to show people is being interpreted correctly. For example, if you tell a joke or post a meme online, it’s not always clear if other people will find it as funny as you do – this can lead us to feel less confident in our ability to engage in social media.
