I’ve not thought of that question before. I guess I like finding out new information and one way to do that is to speak to new people. You get new point of views, new conversations you haven’t had before (because everybody has a different personal history) and the potential to make new friends!

I don’t! I like working on my own and being independent. It is very useful to meet new people and learn about perspectives other than your own, and also some people can be really awesome & great to have relationships with (both personal & professional). I guess — meeting new people can give you opportunities and perspectives you might never have considered before.

I’m kind of socially anxious and find it difficult meeting new people in my person life sometimes, but weirdly I love doing it as part of my work! I really like finding out about their experiences and what they’re interested in and hearing their stories and perspectives on things. I guess I’m just interested in what other people think and what their experiences are about whatever I’m researching.
