I haven’t researched that exactly — but that’s something that I’m starting to do! I look at how people ‘structure’ their talk, so what are the patterns of language-use that we can see when people talk. From those patterns, I can say things about cultural ‘norms’ and what people decide is good/bad, or right/wrong — I can also start to look at how people act as part of a group or as an individual! there’s lots and lots to research in arguments! they’re great things to research.
