I think so, but that’s a very big question. I enjoy my job and interacting with my students about my research. I earn enough money to be comfortable and I live by the beach – perfect! I try not to think about what the other options would have been though.
I’m excited to get to work each day — there are always new challenges to overcome, or new problems to solve. I also work with some really great people that I enjoy spending time with. I think I’ve probably made some bad choices but right now I’m happy so those bad choices were probably for the best!
That’s a big question! I think so – I’ve changed career paths a couple of times, and right now I’m deciding what I want to do when I finish my PhD – whether to stay in research, do more teaching, or do something else entirely! But I love my job now, so even if I think some of my past choices were not the right one, they have led me here so that can only be good!
